Taiko Endo is an author of books for children and adults as well as a literary agent assistant and social media manager at Andrea Brown Literary Agency. She lives in California with her husband and two children.

She got her BA in English Lit from Cal State University, Fullerton. While one of her favorite jobs will always be working as a cast member at Disneyland, it is when she’s writing and working in book publishing that she knows she’s doing what she was created to do.

When she’s not immersed in a good story, Taiko enjoys being a fangirl of her kids’ sports and hobbies, attending events at her local library and bookstores, baking things that don’t look anything like what she sees on GBBO, and having unfiltered conversations about life with her people.

Her adult books are always love stories with Asian-American and mental health rep based on her own experiences. Her whimsical children’s books can be enjoyed by all ages, and often include a dash of magic. But no matter what she writes, she believes that every story should be so truthful that it becomes, as Rudine Sims Bishop has said, a window, a sliding glass door, and a mirror for its reader.
